01 / COMMON QUESTIONS
Before you start
What happens on the free consult?
A free 15-minute call with our team. We ask about your goals, any injuries and your schedule, then recommend the right next step. No cost, no obligation.
Which program is right for me?
Sports physical therapy if you're hurt or recovering from surgery. Group training if you want coached strength classes. Private training if you want a program built around your sport. Not sure? That's what the free consult is for.
How do you measure progress?
We find your baseline with the latest technology, follow a written plan and retest on a schedule, so you can see the change.
Is physical therapy right for me?
We specialize in sports and orthopedic physical therapy for active people. We're not the right fit for Medicare patients or neurological physical therapy, and we'll point you somewhere better if that's you.
What is Remote + Hybrid Coaching?
Your training program in the Everfit app, with check-ins and form review from your coach, anywhere in the U.S. It's coaching, not physical therapy treatment.
Do you offer classes?
Yes. We currently offer weekly adult fitness classes. Group classes are for ages 16 and up. Younger athletes train with us in private training.
Do I need to see my doctor before starting physical therapy?
No. You are allowed to see a physical therapist without a referral from a doctor. Many times this saves time and money, and helps you feel better faster. We will recommend you see a physician when needed, and can often help you get an appointment fast with a physician in our network.
Do you accept my insurance?
We are an out-of-network provider, so we do not directly accept insurance. Many of our patients get reimbursed by their insurance company and can use their HSA. Call the number on the back of your card and ask what your out-of-network physical therapy benefits are. We give you all the information you need to file for reimbursement. Because we see you 1 to 2 times a week instead of 3, many clients spend less with us overall once deductibles, co-pays, and extra visits are counted.
Do I need to have an injury to receive physical therapy?
No. Physical therapists are experts of the musculoskeletal system. We are good at identifying movement dysfunctions and imbalances that may be causing a current injury or could lead to a future one. Alongside injury rehab, we provide performance therapy using manual therapy techniques and corrective exercise.
Do all physical therapy patients get dry needling?
No. Dry needling is a proven technique for reducing pain and dysfunction, but each plan of care is specific to the individual based on what we find during your evaluation.
What sets you apart from other physical therapy clinics?
Exclusive 1-on-1, 60-minute sessions with hands-on manual therapy, no insurance delays, and no prescription required. You have continuous access to your therapist, and our focus is sports rehabilitation and a clean return to sport.
What sets you apart from other gyms?
Private training, physical therapy, sports performance, and recovery sit under one roof. Your rehab feeds your training, and your training supports injury prevention, instead of being passed between disconnected providers.
What is AlterG?
AlterG stands for anti-gravity treadmill. It was originally developed for NASA and can let you start running again sooner while protecting you from impact and load. It can reduce bodyweight from full weight down to 20 percent, which helps you add running volume with less stress-related injury risk.
Do you offer online programming and coaching?
Yes. We have a variety of online programs available, as well as individualized programming and coaching.
What is your class cancellation policy?
Please cancel a reservation at least 8 hours before class. Cancellations inside 8 hours count as a late cancel: class packs lose the credit, unlimited memberships are charged a late-cancel fee, and limited memberships are charged a late-cancel fee with the credit returned. Emergencies happen, so reach out and we will work with you.
